Which languages?

Every translation is to or from Japanese. Choose the language your document is in and the language you need it in — if you pick another language on one side, the other side is set to Japanese automatically, and choosing Japanese swaps the direction.

Translation direction does not change the price. For Chinese and Korean we confirm translator availability before you order. "Other" languages with Japanese are individually quoted — continue and we will confirm within one business day.

How fast do you need it?

Turnaround commences once we have received your complete, legible source documents and confirmed the scope.

Which currency should we show?

Public translation rates are in US dollars; this selection is for an indicative home-currency conversion.

Do your documents still need translation?

Notarised translation covers the translation itself, a Certificate of Translation, handling and the notary office fee. Pick the closest match, we confirm the exact scope at document review.

How many documents?

Count each separate document to be notarised. Best guess is fine.

How should we deliver your notarised documents?

Domestic post and EMS use the published indicative charges below. DHL and FedEx are quoted separately because the actual courier charge depends on destination, shipment weight, dimensions and applicable surcharges. Courier figures in brackets are guidance only and are confirmed on your quotation before booking.

Which language do you need interpreted?

Medical interpreting is available between Japanese and the languages below, in either direction. For any other language, contact us first.

How many hours do you need?

Minimum booking is 3 hours ($360 USD). Additional hours are $60 USD each. A best estimate is fine, waiting time and overtime are always stated before confirmation.

Where is your appointment?

In-person interpreting is available across Kansai (Hyogo, Osaka, Kyoto), including at the pharmacy. Travel within 15 km of Kobe is included in the hourly rate.

Clinic appointment coordination

MedicTranslate provides administrative appointment coordination only, covering a simple appointment request and one follow-up call. Complex bookings, multiple clinics, document pre-checks, rescheduling, urgent requests and interpreter coordination are quoted separately. All bookings are subject to clinic acceptance. Our coordination fee is quoted up front, before any work begins. Clinic fees and insurance are determined by the clinic and your insurer.
